A New Decade Begins

The year is only a month old and I can barely catch my breath. All moved in to the new studio, but it’s going to take a while to get completely set up. It’s a good feeling to get things all reorganized for the new decade. Out with the old stuff…. Get ready for the new…. I think the new space will be great once everything finds its place.
Been on the road all month so it’s hard to get enough hours in the day to get it all done. Started with the PPA Imaging USA conference in Nashville where I did a Canon Explorers of Light program in the Trade show. Then it was off to London with Helene where we both did multiple programs for the SWPP conference. Both conferences had record-breaking attendance, which shows that the education of photographers is still very strong. Didn’t have a lot of time for sightseeing on these trips, but we did have a nice night out on the town in London with several of our friends who were also speaking there. Then back to Santa Barbara to work with Helene on a large job there.
Lots of big things coming up in the next few months. I have an upcoming series of Webinars on Digital Workflow sponsored by Adobe and PPA. These are free to PPA members and you can fine out more info by clicking on this link. http://www.ppa.com/ . There will be a new one each month that will take you from setting up color management and file processing through final archiving. These hour-long programs will be featured once a month for the next 5 months. I will be heading to the Hallmark Institute of Photography in Massachusetts to do a day-long program there. Next it's off to WPPI where I will be teaching a two-day pre-conference Plus Class and an Canon Explorers of Light program on image compositing. There are a few spaces left for the Plus Class if you are attending the show so check it out at http://www.wppionline.com/pages/wppi2010.aspx . Then it’s off to Orlando for Photoshop World East 2010… This will be my 20th PSW show and I have all new programs for the three-day event… (This is making me tired just talking about it). Hope to have some new tutorials for you to check out very soon so stay tuned for more.
